AC4 GT, the unconditional towing machine of the future. Extremely powerful and economical, we bring gliders up to 850kg aloft at the optimum towing speed.
Impressively simple and robust lightweight construction promises extremely efficient and economical towing operation. The forces are optimally introduced, from the engine via the central fuselage tube to the glider.
The powerful tug with Rotax 915 iSC 141 hp turbo engine and constant speed propeller with single lever control for easy operation.
Oil and water cooling systems are designed for sustained towing performance at any temperature and altitude.
The image from the tail-mounted on-board camera is displayed directly in front of the pilot's eyes in the EFIS for the perfect overview.
Reliable winch designed by Maag (known as the Langenthal winch).
When towing, a wide speed range between 100 - 150 km/h can be covered. Built with Maxon motors and Güdel gearboxes, both Swiss quality products.
The AC4 GT moves safely on all runways with the large 6 inch wheels and the large propeller ground clearance of 33cm, built for continuous rough towing operation.
We expect 50% lower operating costs compared to currently available tow airplanes, achieved through the uncompromisingly applied lightweight construction and the optimised drive with the enormous system robustness.
In addition, the AC4 GT performs its work as quietly as a whisper with a resident-friendly noise level.
